Choking hazard
300,000 “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” have been recalled by Build-A-Bear Workshop.
The teddy bear was sold in stores and online from April to December. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the beaded eyes could come loose and fall out, creating a choking hazard for young children. No injuries have been reported in relation to the recall.
The “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bear,” which was sold in the United States and Canada, has a white body covered with multicolored hearts. Consumers who have purchased the bear can return it to any Build-A-Bear Workshop location and exchange it for a coupon on any stuffed animal.
