10 injured in Tri-Rail train collision
A northbound Tri-Rail commuter train hit a car just before 7pm Sunday night.
The crash resulted in minor injuries for 10 passengers inside. According to Cody Schisler of Boynton Beach, the collision “bumped the train a little bit.”
Bonnie Arnold, spokeswoman for Tri-Rail, stated that passengers left the train and walked a quarter of a mile to Commercial Boulevard where they boarded buses to Cypress Creek station.
No report on the driver of the vehicle.
