Injured in a car accident
At 6:30pm Wednesday, Deputy Jeremy Rieger of the Florida Sheriff’s department crashed into the side of a vehicle driven by 71 year old Robert Cooper of St. Cloud, FL.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Cooper turned left in front of Reiger’s vehicle causing Reiger to try to avoid hitting the oncoming vehicle. Unfortunately, Reiger hit the passenger side of Cooper’s car and also a sign on the side of the road causing Reiger’s vehicle to flip on its side. Reiger was unharmed. Cooper suffered serious injuries.
