Elderly man saved by Good Samaritans after vehicle is submerged
At approximately 5pm Sunday, Good Samaritans saved an elderly man who drove his car into Biscayne Bay near the intersection of Northeast 106th Street and Biscayne Bay.
One Good Samaritan, Miami Beach Police Detective, Daniel Erben stated, “I wasn’t thinking at the time. I just jumped in as fast as I could…”He was unresponsive. He was full of fluid…looked like he was unconscious, just kept doing compressions.”
The 81 year old man survived and was transported to North Shore Hospital. Police are still investigating the accident.
