Police in cities around the country are anticipating an influx of drunk drivers this Saturday due to Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
As the date falls on a weekend, more people will be able to participate in the festivities that are associated with this holiday, including the consumption of alcohol.
There will be several DUI checkpoints set up in order to cut down on the number of drunk drivers that are on the road. Mobile DUI units will also be used in order for police to approach the driver’s side of a vehicle and check firsthand if the driver is under the influence.
