Bicycle fatal hit and run
Florida State Troopers continue to investigate a fatal bicycle accident that occurred last Tuesday. They have now stated that they think that they found the vehicle that struck the 31-year-old bicyclist dead.
The police processed a red Dodge Challenger for evidence and are still trying to determine the driver and who the car is registered to.
The man and his dog were struck Tuesday night on Swift Road and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The dog was not seriously injured in the accident. There are no bike lanes on the roadway and officials think that the driver may not have seen the bicyclist.
