Ft. Lauderdale man struck by car, in critical condition
On Friday, Oct 14 at approximately 6:30pm, James Teets, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, was struck by a car while bicycling along County 571 in Toms River, NJ, according to police. Robin Cuccaro, 51, of Manchester, was driving the 1993 Ford that struck Teets. Police Chief Michael Mastronardy stated that Teets was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center immediately following the incident, where he remains in critical condition.
Cuccaro was not summoned, but Officer Stephen Schwartz of the traffic safety department is investigating the case further.
