Listeria outbreak from cantaloupes
The outbreak of food-borne illness from Listeria contaminated-cantaloupes that were grown in Colorado has been called the worst in over a decade.
On Tuesday, the Center of Disease Control announced that 13 people have been killed and 72 have been sickened from the outbreak.
Three additional deaths are also being investigated to see if there is a connection to the cantaloupes. Local stores in Florida have put up signs that their melons came from California.
