A teen attacked by pitbull
A 13-year-old girl was attacked by her pit bull and was saved after her neighbors saw and began to beat the dog with baseball bats in order to end the attack. The pit bull was eventually fatally shot.
The attack occurred last week in Deerfield Beach after the girl tried to put the dog into the bathroom because he was acting odd. The pit bull then began to bite the girl and her brother and cousin tried to stop the attack, but had to call for help.
The neighbors brought bats to get the dog off the girl, but then shot him when he would not stop. Officials have said that the girl will need reconstructive surgery.
