Gene Hackman was hit by a car
Gene Hackman, actor and Oscar winner, was hit by a pickup truck while riding his bike in Islamorada, FL on Friday.
The actor, who is 81 years old, was riding his bike without a helmet when a Toyota Tundra pickup truck hit his rear tire throwing him off the bike. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center to be treated for his injuries.
“Gene’s fine. … Just a few bumps and bruises. He is already on his way home,” said his publicist, Susan Madore.
